Geoinvestigate Limited – Geotechnical and geo-environmental engineers with offices in North Yorkshire, Cumbria and our new Reading Site Investigation office are pleased to have been asked to join the team of specialists investigating the stability of the castle.
Geoinvestigate director Ross Nicolson said “this is a very important historical building much loved by the people of Barnard Castle with issues which are both technically demanding, complicated and very interesting.
We consider it a privilege to be working for Durham County Council, English Heritage and alongside other experts in various fields covering structural engineering, archaeology, health and safety and surveying. Geoinvestigates geotechnical input will be key in helping the team come-up with various options for the castle.”
